Quantitative Research Assistant 
We are looking for suitable candidates for the post of Research Assistant (RA).  The RA will be engaged on quantitative studies.
As part of their duties they may be required to take part in any or all of the following activities:
i. Maintaining large data sets
ii. Sampling design and questionnaire design
iii. Supervising data collection
iv. Statistical analysis of data
v. Writing reports and articles
vi. Assist in organising workshops and other IDF dissemination activities
RAs are also strongly encouraged to participate in independent research activity.
RAs work as part of research teams and report to the Fellow leading that team.
The candidate will be given an initial contract for a period of one year which can be extended depending on the performance of the candidate. 

Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics with a good working knowledge in statistical packages (like STATA or R) is essential. The opening is more suited for a candidate with an interest in empirical economics. Candidates are also expected to have good written and oral communication skills.
